My professional goals are to support the understanding and documentation of important ecological features of our world, so that rare, sensitive and undervalued resources can be managed for future generations. GIS is a powerful tool that not only allows accurate archival of maps, but interpretation, analysis and distribution for environmental management and research.
On a personal level, I have traveled throughout the United States and several countries including Mexico, Canada, France, New Zealand, and to Antarctica. My recreational pursuits include rock climbing, cave exploration/mapping, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and kayaking. |
